About Fontanassa

Brothers, Marco and Roberto Gemme, and also with the cooperation with the enologist Gaspare Buscemi produced their first vintage in 1988. The winery, Fontanassa is in Rovereto di Gavi, in the center of the Historical area of production for Gavi D.O.C.G. del Comune di Gavi (pictured below). The vineyards are grown on a clay soil with stones and irony sand with southern exposure vineyards.

The wines produced by Fontanassa reflect the family’s authentic passion, respect for nature and tradition and is an experience that goes beyond the tasting. It is a dip in the nobility of the land and the Cortese grape, in the history and beauty.
