Nebbiolo is a grape native to Italy and predominately grown in the Piedmont region. Wines produced using these grapes tend to have a light garnet color with a soft rose and leather aroma and full bodied fruit, powerful tannins and a dry finish.
Although Nebbiolo wines have big structure and high tannins, these wines are very delicate and approachable. Nebbiolo based wines feature great structure and tannins that are suited for long aging and are best enjoyed with food to enhance the full character of the wine. We recommend dishes such as grilled meats, pastas and hearty dishes with these wines.
